Just the right amount of everything
The location is a real plus, close to the main train station and the bus hub. Apart from that, it's a typical standard hotel, classic room and equipments. The staff is nice even with non japanese speaking persons.

Great!
Easy and simple, no fussing around for check-in/out. They had vending machines on the first floor for a quick drink, one had alcohol too. The location is in a busy shopping arcade; seems quite fun for vacation.
I couldn't find the first floor elevator when I first arrived. It's inside in a hallway. I'm not sure if you're allowed to just go in through there. If you ask the staff, they may tell you to use it though. I would ask to be sure.

Affordable and well located hotel
Ideally located, close to Tanabata festival area, a few minutes to the metro and JR station, and close to many shops, as it is inside a shotengai. The staff is really helpful and professional Free espresso provided at front desk Laundry corner is really cheap, you only pay a small fee for detergent, but the rest is free (way cheaper than any coin laundry) Room is quite large and well equipped for the price
Front desk is at 2F, so you need to climb a few steps to access the front desk and elevator The drying machines are small, it took me a very long time to wash my clothes, but fortunately the staff allowed me to use 2 drying machine at the same time to resolve the issue
